Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

Founded in 2005, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is the premier national touring series for super dirt late models. The series will sanction 46 events in 19 different states in 2012 along with several crown jewel events for dirt late models including The Show-Me 100, Sunoco North/South 100, Knoxville Late Model Nationals and the Dirt Track World Championship.
 
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series had record spectator attendance and record car counts with over 500 different drivers competing at least once with the national touring series in 2011. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has put together another strong TV package with events broadcasted on CBS, SPEED, VERSUS and MavTV in 2012 The series continues to grow in exposure through the many media outlets including TV, print media, radio, websites, facebook, twitter and YouTube. NASCAR stars Bobby Labonte and Clint Boyer both own and field teams that compete on the series on a full time basis. Bobby Labonte Racing won the series championship in 2007 and 2008.
