The Formula 1000 Championship Series is an open-wheel racing series that features some of the most technically advanced race cars in junior motorsport. Formulated in the Grand Prix style of racing, F1000 races feature standing starts with cars that carry electronic paddle shifters, open aerodynamics, and engines that scream at 12,000 rpms, with speeds up to 160 mph. The Series is a forum for drivers to showcase their talent on their way up to the premier auto racing series in the world.
